Fender – 1965 – Jaguar in 3-Tone Sunburst
This transitional year Fender is in very good condition and has a few dings here and there, but playability is great! This guitar is a time capsule of its era, and was one of the biggest guitars in popular culture. Though the guitar received some short lived fame from Fender pushing it upon its release, the guitar was never as popular as the Stratocaster and Telecaster and only lasted 13 years in production. The Jaguar has an alder body with a maple neck which is fitted with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. The instrument has a shorter scale length than the traditional Fender instruments (24″) and has thinner single coil pickups than its brother, the Jazzmaster.
