The Gibson Original series is a collection of traditional spec’d, timeless guitars. The Firebird, first made in ’63, was Gibson’s first neck-through-body guitar. The mahogany body and 9-ply mahogany/walnut neck combined with the Firebird Alnico V pickups create the sound and sustain heard by rock legends such as Allen Collins, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, etc. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot us a message!
